y!gallery needs help, and other news

hey lo everybody. hows it going? sorry for the still lack of updates but im still getting distracted by stuff :( dont worry though youll have new stories to fap to soon :)

in other news, y!gallery, the main site where i post all of my work, is in very real danger of being shut down. not for legal reasons but the lack of a system administrator doing upkeep for the site has been scheduled to be shut down in feburuary if nobody comes forward to accept the job. heres the actal post

"Hi everyone,

y!Gallery has been being run for some time now without anyone actually in charge of the maintenance and upkeep of our server. In order to keep the site online and operational, we are in urgent need of at least one qualified system administrator that understands Debian Linux and md softraid and would be willing to monitor the server and address problems as they occur.

The site runs on a stack of lighttpd, PHP, and MySQL, and the chat service runs on jabberd14, but these are mostly stable at this point and do not really need much attention paid to them, so if you do not have much/any experience with these things, it does not really matter.

If we do not find a qualified system administrator capable of ensuring our server stays online and operational, y!Gallery will be forced to end operations and shut down on 14 February. If you are able to fill this role, please contact me privately via PM as soon as possible.

if anybody following me has these qualifications, please step in and assist y-gallery. they may be really anal with regards to rules but there are so many great artists on there and it would be a shame to loose the site. and also y gallery is one of my great inspiration fonts

in related news to the ygallery problem im backing up my story archive into one folder, once thats done ill be able to properly start updating here :)


also, another thing, i will be either deleting or getting a new chatbox, the other one is so frigging clogge with spam its disgusting. does anybody know of any other kidns of chatboxes that dont allow spam to be posted by bots?
